Russ DorsettAtlanta BravesRuss Dorsett was born May 23, 1979 in Redmond, WA, nine days before the Seattle SuperSonics won the only professional championship the Seattle area has ever known. Russ grew up in Tacoma, WA, as a diehard Seahawks, Sonics, and Mariners fan, although he is currently boycotting the Mariners until Bill Bavasi is either fired or executed, preferably the latter. Mr. Dorsett participated in a Pursue the Pennant Baseball League at Jason Lee Middle School from 1991-1995, and won the World Series in the spring of 1992. Dorsett also founded the Ainsworth Fantasy Football League in 1996, and has been acting commissioner for 10 years. Russ graduated from Stadium High School in 1997, and enrolled in Seattle University where he played for the golf team until 1999, when they cut the program. Shortly after, he dropped out of school and moved to Las Vegas. After six months of throwing away paychecks on hookers, blackjack, and bets on the Hawks, Russ moved again, this time to Jacksonville, Florida, where he worked as a driving range and golf car attendant at the TPC at Sawgrass. In the fall of 2002, Russ moved to Tallahassee to finish school, and graduated from Florida State University in December of 2005, with a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Economics.
