Lloyd Spent 26 years as a Business Ed.-Social Studies teacher and coach (football, track) at Blanchet High School in Seattle before retiring June of 2000. He is married (Marilyn - for 43 years), has three children and five grandkids living in the Seattle area.

He started playing simulation games in the mid 1960's The first game was the old APBA (football) dice game. It's still one of his favorites. After moving to Seattle in 1966, he pioneered the Puget Sound (APBA) Baseball league. He enjoyed many successful years as the Cincinnati Reds. After 20 years he left to take on the challenge of computer baseball and formed our current league.

He enjoys traveling and for years has taken summer baseball trips, first with his baseball buddies and later with his older grandkids. These trips have taken him to all of the current major league cities. He was asked by the president of the Mariners Stadium board to submit a pros and cons evaluation of all of the major league baseball parks. This report was submitted to all of the board members to help them in designing Safeco.

This summer he embarks on seeing the new parks that have been opened in the last couple of years.

Besides the Mariners, he still likes the Cincinnati Reds with Johnny Bench being his all-time favorite player. He was elected commissioner for life in 1996.
