Frank DeMarcoOakland AthleticsE-Mail DeMarco/Manager E-Mail Bessonette/General Manager Frank DeMarco lives in Des Moines, WA with his wife and two children. He works as an attorney and is a partner in the firm of Linn, Schisel & DeMarco. Frank grew up in Dunmore, Pennsylvania (a small town in the Scranton - Wilkes Barre area) and eventually migrated to the west coast to go to law school and was introduced to APBA baseball and Stratomatic Football by law school professors that obviously had too much time on their hands. He joined his first basic game APBA baseball league in 1980. It was a face to face league, split between Seattle and Portland. The league folded in 1989 and in 1990 he joined the other Puget Sound baseball league, taking over the LA Dodgers franchise. He still has that franchise. Having also managed the Philadelphia A’s in an old time mail league and the Oakland A’s in a short lived APBA league, (he still has the green and yellow dice) it was too much to resist when he found out from Sandy McGinnis that the Oakland A’s were available in the PSCB. He took over the A’s before the 2002 PSCB season.
